Limited Warranty Period

The AKRITI PRECISION SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITED (APSPL) Hardware & Software Limited Warranty provides express limited warranty rights for the duration specified on the product description page. General Terms

This APSPL Limited Warranty applies to APSPL-branded hardware products sold or leased by APSPL, its subsidiaries, affiliates, or authorized resellers. “APSPL Hardware Product” refers to hardware components only, excluding software, non-APSPL products, or peripherals (e.g., motors, controllers), which are provided “AS IS” unless covered by separate warranties from their manufacturers. APSPL may repair, replace, or refund defective hardware during the Limited Warranty Period, as detailed in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

The warranty period begins on the date of purchase, lease, or installation completion. Proof of purchase or lease may be required. APSPL disclaims implied warranties (e.g., merchantability, fitness for purpose) beyond the express warranty duration, to the extent permitted by law. Warranty services may vary by region, subject to local export and import laws. APSPL is not responsible for tariffs or duties during product transfers.

Exclusions

APSPL does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation and is not liable for damage due to misuse, accidents, liquid spills, improper maintenance, or external causes. This warranty excludes consumable parts, products with removed serial numbers, or damage from non-APSPL software, parts, or services. APSPL is not responsible for interoperability issues with unsupported parts, configurations, or systems.

Customers must back up data and remove confidential information before returning products. APSPL is not liable for data loss or restoration beyond factory-installed software, to the extent permitted by law.

Exclusive Remedy

To the extent permitted by law, this warranty is the exclusive agreement for APSPL Hardware Products, superseding prior representations. APSPL may repair, replace with refurbished parts, or refund defective products. Replaced or repaired products are warranted for 90 days or the remaining warranty period, whichever is longer.

Limitation of Liability

APSPL’s liability is limited to the purchase price of the product. APSPL is not liable for lost profits, data, or consequential damages, to the extent permitted by law. This applies to claims under warranty, tort, contract, or other legal theories.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers must provide accurate information, maintain a suitable environment, and use APSPL remote support solutions when available. Before returning products, back up data, remove confidential information, and remove external accessories. Cooperation with diagnostic procedures is required to avoid non-warranty charges.

Types of Hardware Warranty Service

1. Customer Self-Repair

Many APSPL Hardware Products include Customer Self-Repair (CSR) parts. Mandatory CSR parts require customer replacement; optional CSR parts may be replaced by APSPL at no or additional cost. Customers must return defective parts within 5-15 business days or face charges. Contact APSPL via the Support website or Reddit for assistance.

3. On-Site Visit & Repair

On-site service is not included unless specified in a separate contract. If required, visits occur during standard business hours (typically 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday). Additional charges may apply based on location. Check the Support website for authorized service providers.

Response times vary by region and are based on local business hours. Contact your APSPL authorized reseller for availability.

Included Software

Software obligations are governed by the applicable license agreement. Defective media can be returned within 90 days for replacement. Raise a support ticket on the support site with evidence of non-functionality.

Freeware and Open-Source Operating Systems and Applications

APSPL does not support third-party freeware or open-source software. Contact the software vendor for support, as indicated in the product documentation.
